hooray for projects!

When we moved into this house there were two MAJOR things on our to-do list. Bulding a new deck (which took a crazy amount of time) and replacing the windows. Our previous windows were nasty OLD aluminum. We quickly realized that if we were to last this coming winter we need to up grade. So we made a huge decision and purchase to buy new windows. Yes a huge expense, but very worth it!! Just look at the difference!!! ...and thank God we didn't have to raise a finger!

...here are some before pictures...

and here are the after pictures...

Sorry for the dark background... I just took them!

Overall we are VERY happy with the way they turned out. The pictures really don't do them justice... who knew windows would make such a huge difference??? They do!! Only a couple little flubs when they mistakenly stained two windows the wrong color but oh well, they are coming back to fix it as soon as they make the correction. Thankfully they only took THREE days to install! This winter we'll be nice and toasty warm!! :)

I know you are so excited about our new windows!! yay. ha!
